I can't find a burial in Liverpool he may be buried in Yorkshire.

Thank you very much for finding that information for me. The names of the residents don't mean anything to me but I'll have a look at the censuses now.
I have searched all the possible burial records for cemeteries around his birthplace - I live in the next village, so I am familiar with the possibilities!! No joy there.
