Blackrock College

I have a Leinster Schools Challenge Cup (BCFC) medal given to my grandfather in 1893/94. The 1901 Census lists my grandmother’s two brothers, one a student the other a clergyman, as residents of Blackrock.

I am told there is a hall, dedicated to BCFC and as part of my May ’18 trip to Ireland I would like to be able to visit the college; perhaps see evidence of grandfather’s attendance.

I have contacted BC administration and BC Union for advice and have had no reply.

Any tips for me on how to get someone’s attention or where else to look?

I have navigated that site and contacted them for assistance and or direction.
Nothing yet and phoning, while an option, will be a last resort.

Perhaps I am doing something wrong.
It appears one needs to join to access the student information.
Joining seems to be limited to alumni, which I am not and will not fib.
