Is it possible please for someone to find the details or records of Rifleman S2135 Thomas Victor Johnson, 11th Service Battalion The Rifle Brigade, killed on the Somme 18th Sept. 1916.
he was born July 1897 and lived at Bramhall Street, Warrington.

The CWGC record is here: https://www.cwgc.org/find-war-dead/casualty/796322/johnson,-thomas-victor/  They have his number slightly wrong it was S/2135.

He was reported missing on 18 Sep 1916 after an unsuccessful attack in the area east of Longueval.  His date is officially "presumed dead on or since 18 Sep 1916" hence his commemoration on the Thiepval memorial to the missing.

The attack was on the trench line that can be seen on the link below on the left hand map running diagonally top left to bottom right approx in square T3.  The present day map is on the right.
