 There is a transcription error with the marriage of Henry Towel. It was actually in 1838. Sarah Towell was a witness. Henry and Sarah both signed their names as Towell.

 Henry might be the son of John Towell and Ann Crofts who were married at Tickencote on 27th February 1806. Henry was baptised there on 8th February 1807.

Henry is missing from the 1851-61 censuses, although Elizabeth is at Barrow upon Soar.
Also, I can't see him in 1881.

Leicester Chronicle 3rd February 1883
Towell - On the 25th ult., at the County Asylum, Mr Henry Towell, aged 78.

 I see Henry in 1881 now. The second half of his age is feint and transcribed as 71.

 His father john was buried in Barrow on 9th July 1837, age 56, so probably baptised in Exton on 26th November 1780, son of Robert and Frances.

 I can't find anything to link this Henry to Charlotte. On the marriage register, she gave her father's occupation as Harness Maker and Mary Ann Towell was a witness.

Also possibly worth mentioning, there is a bastardy record in 1827 for Ann Towell of Oakham, & under the same reference a Bastardy Examination for Thomas Henton, Melton Mowbray.  An Ann Towell married Henry Camp at Oakham in 1828, although I haven't traced them after this.

On the marriage register, she gave her father's occupation as Harness Maker and Mary Ann Towell was a witness.

I may have found Henry Camp living in Mansfield, Nottingham in 1841.  Age 36, not born in County, Occupation - Harness Maker.

Perhaps Charlotte used her step-father's forename & occupation on her marriage certificate - it wouldn't be the first time anyone did that.

That is very possible as you say Jomot.

FreeBMD has a marriage post it
On 22 Aug 1841 at Mansfield St Peter
Henry CAMP married Ann LYNAM
Henry is shown on the GRO index in Vol 15 Page 678 and Ann on 6_8. I believe 678 is correct

Fits with 1851 Census
Henry Camp  44 Saddler
Ann Camp, 41
Alfred Camp, 22
Marian Lynam, 17
Elizabeth Lynam, 10
Sarah Camp, 8
Lucy Camp, 6
Harriet Camp, 4

1841 we have;
Henry Camp, 36, Harness M
Alfred Camp, 11
Elizabeth Camp, 9
Thomas Camp, 7
Anne Parson, 46

GRO index has a possible Death Reg;
CAMP, ANN, age   36****
GRO Reference: 1840  D Quarter in NOTTINGHAM  Volume 15  Page 431

Unfortunately I cant find Baptism with my resources for Alfred/Elizabeth/Thomas and as they were born before 1837 there is no GRO Birth Reg to check their Mothers maiden name!
