I'm looking for my relative John Dawson born in c 1841 in Ruabon.He is visible in 1871 with wife Mary and daughter but not in 1881.The 1891 entry isn't visible either.

Thanks Cas,my only real fresh query about him was that there was an entry of a John Dawson of Ruabon,an Insurance agent in a trade directory I seen today.

Likely Bapt, 14th March 1841 Ruabon, parents Stephen & Elizabeth, father a bricklayer

That's odd on Ancestry for 1891, there is a transcription but the image page is blank! It is on FindMyPast though so obviously exists.

1881 is on Family search  but can't see 1891 there either.
