Unfortunately no, my Alexander Bond ( carpenter) was the son of an Alexander Bond ( innkeeper).

I don't actually know where my Alexander Bond is from, in only one census does he say Yorkshire and in the others he gives Durham and that could be either the city or the county.

I investigated the Alexander Bond of Bubwith and found it was not the right Bond family so I'm sorry but I cannot help your research.

The mystery of Jane Skelton’s several names was beyond me and then l found your post. I don’t have the answers yet but fascinated by your search. My maiden name is Bond. My father is a Durham Bond. My line is Jane Skelton mother of James Bond, who is father of Richard Bond, who is father of Percy Hiett Bond, who is father of Dennis Richard Bond (my dad). Short on time now, but great I had Jane originally as Stilton but then was convinced of Skelton as seemed much more accurate. No Alexander in my dad’s family that l have come across yet
Liz

I'll get back to you later with more information, I have to go out now. It's definitely the same family.
