I have Daniel Alexander Williamson b 1822 Liverpool, his father was Daniel Williamson, both were painters.
Is  there any family connection to the Williamson Art Gallery in Birkenhead .

Wikipedia says that it was opened in 1928 - financially supported by John Williamson of Cunard Shipping Line and his son Patrick.

Added:  The Art Gallery and Museum's own website confirms this information.
