Inter linked families
« on: Monday 27 November 17 17:24 GMT (UK) »
I am researching a family for my cousin and have found a number of families that weave in and out over the generations I am finding it hard to follow them on censuses. When I do find a census for one of them often  not all are baptised where they say they were born. The occupations are sandmen, traders, hawkers, metal collectors boatmen, and nailers. The main area of interest is Sedgley ,Uper Gornal and Rowley Regis.
The surnames are:
Flavell, Stan(D)l(e)y, Hickmans, Lewis, Williams, Smith

Does any of this mean anything to the travelling community please? If so where can I get help in sorting them out.
Census Information is Crown Copyright, from www.nationalarchives.gov.uk
