I am trying to trace a Johann Carl or maybe spelt Karl Geppert bn 31 August 1843 C. 03 Sept 1843 in Rawitsch, Posen, Prussia.
 .
I believe his parents were Friederich William Geppert bn ?  and Johanna Dorothea Handtke bn ?

I had a quick look and found some possible index hits

I tried going through Ancestry, but didn't come up with anything.
The above i posted was what i found on Family Search.
I tried getting on their Polish sight, but said the sight was closed down.

Johann Wilhelm Geppert married Dorothea Handtke - not Freidrich
their son was indeed Johann Carl ( not Karl )

first 2 records show the marriage of Johann Wilhelm to Dorothea Handtke and page 3 shows Johann Carl birth
it looks like Dorothea birth in the same village was registered Auguste Dorothea Handtke
