1861 census: Ann CARTWRIGHT born Wombourne 1845
« on: Tuesday 28 November 17 11:49 GMT (UK) »
I'm trying to find Ann CARTWRIGHT in the 1861 census. She was baptised 27 April 1845 at St Benedict Biscop, daughter of James and Sarah CARTWRIGHT, and the 1851 census shows her at The Fold, Wombourn with her parents and sister Emma (age 2).
Ann married William PIPER in 1866, and I have her on every census from 1871 - 1911.

I can't for the life of me find Ann in 1861 - can anyone help?

That sounds  likely: unfortunately I can't find the Beddard family, either! (I suspect transcription errors here...) - could you give me a few more details?

I'm definitely suffering from transcription error: I still can't find them!  Any chance you could let me know the address?

The address is Battle Field Wombourn Staffordshire

I found it by typing in James Beddard and using the birthplace given by Trish

James born 1820 - first name on the top of the page

Hope you can find  :)
Hinchliffe - Huddersfield Wiltshire
Burroughs - Arlingham Glos
Pick - Frocester Glos

Believe it or  not, whichever combination of search terms I use on FindMyPast, I still can't find the blasted family.... I shall have to pay a visit to the library...

Thanks very much both for your help.
