Hi Carol, you just make me laugh out loud!! 

Thanks so much for giving William's photo a spruce up, it looks great!  I'd never seen this photo of my great great grandfather until a couple of weeks ago, only photos of him as a mature man.

Hi Carol, it just goes from one extreme to the other here, today it is bucketing rain, so I haven't been able to go on my morning walk, despite that, it's not cold, I'm still walking around in short sleeves.

Pat, how beautiful; Lancaster looks gorgeous, as does the beautiful Lake District in the background, I wonder what our ancestors would make of all this, communicating with friends from other ends of the world, sharing photos and stories, it is wonderful, isn't it!!   

I realise this is not an open forum for posting our own personal photos, but just this once, since it's nearing Christmas, I'll share our warmth from yesterday morning and the morning before that.  P.S.  I would've liked to share your snow yesterday!!

I went for a more creative version after cleaning up a bit - so darkened it out quite a bit compared to your original. But as a sports man i thought the style might suit him. I hope it is okay, but you will get a few variations from restorers to choose from.
