Hi

Looking for the baptism of this man, born in Bishopwearmouth, Sunderland on the 19.10.1817 - father (we think) is Thomas Taylor, a labourer.

Thanks

Sue

Possible baptism at Bishopwearmouth 16 Nov 1817
Tom Taylor of Union Street, son of Thomas Taylor, common brewer, and Maria Josephina Taylor

It's the only one with father Thomas showing on Durham Records online.

The 1827 Sunderland Directory shows a Thomas Taylor, Brewer, Union Street, and also at 14 Vine Place, Bishopwearmouth.

Suggest you have a look at Ancestry- lot of info about Tom Taylor born 19 Oct 1817 Bishopwearmouth  Died July 12 1880 - Cambridge Alumni records states he was the second son of Thomas (brewer). There is also an entry for him in the Dictionary of National Biography "dramatist and editor of Punch".
