I get emails from Ancestry as a 'member'  99% of them are about buying their DNA product  ::)

Census information is Crown Copyright, from www.nationalarchives.gov.uk

That doesn't sound very good.

I did look on their Twitter feed and that was the same.

In that respect, Ancestry is like a mithering brat. Must have had hundreds of them - seems like several a week - their head numpty hasn't got the message that, if I haven't signed up by now I'm not going to.

Just looking at past emails from them, on the 4th of each month there is one about new record collections the rest are trying to sell DNA testing

I receive 2 or 3 messages a day asking me if I want to buy the DNA kit....yes I do!  But they won't let me buy it because I don't live in the UK. 

And so the emails go on... >:(
