When asking for information it's best to include as much detail as possible so that we don't waste time finding details you already have or simply don't want. Have a look at this from the HELP pages (link at top of page) for getting best results from your query-

Hi Ray -Yes I am the grandson and I assure you neither charles or his wife are still alive both having been born circa 1880 so if you do have any info I would be most grateful to receive it.  I live in South Africa and obviously can't go to National Archives etc. to get information.
I look forward to seeing yr post.
