I am now in a muddle  and Helena has gone. Where did Belcher come from and which is the correct family?

There is some confusion and not just on Helena's part

Caroline Belcher 1861 Oct-Nov-Dec qtr but images says Cheltenham District Vol 6a Page 78
George Beese listed as on same page but image gives Bristol District

the final 7 is faint on the image, but it *is* there

This sums it up! 

So are we now saying that George Beese definitely did not marry Caroline Belcher but married Caroline Gunter? So all the Beese/Gunter children are theirs.

That would make more sense Pauline.
Although it still looks like pg 78 to me not 787. There is a long 7 hanging down from above which could be obscuring the final 7 , there is a very, very faint mark below it.
