Doddicott/Doody/Leese
« on: Sunday 03 December 17 20:22 GMT (UK) »
I am at a loss on how to start connecting the Doddicott and Doody families to my Leese Line

I do have this information:  John Doody (1790) - Born in Lilleshall Shropshire

Parents of John Doody are: Joseph Doody and Mary Doddicott

John (1790) married Elizabeth Leese (1785) on December 1, 1810 in Lilleshall, Shropshire

           From the above information. would   someone know who Elizabeth's

           parents  would  have been?

Kind regards,

Doris Baudoux

Hi if Elizabeth was indeed born in Lilleshall, the only one I could locate was the Elizabeth LEES baptism 15th April 1787 Lilleshall Illegitimate daughter of Mary Lees?

PS the 1810 marriage shows her as LEES?

Hi Keyboard,

Thank you for your help.  I will sort this out.  I had an accident which took me away from the computer, after being involved in genealogy for nearly 30 years.

I am sending you this information I have on my Leese Tree and ask what you think:
William Leese (1797) born in Lilleshall.  Spouse Ann Jones (1798) also born In Lilleshall.  They were married March 20. 1819.  There children were: Mary Ann Leese (1833);  James Leese (1835);
Elizabeth Leese(1840)

Am I right in assuming that this is the Elizabeth Leese I am searching?

Regards,
