Neale of Higham Ferrers
« on: Monday 04 December 17 10:18 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to find which 'family' Thomas Neale came from. Presumably, it must have been pretty wealthy as he went to Cambridge.

Any ideas, please?

Thomas Neale  was born circa. 1564 in Higham Ferrers. He studied at Cambridge and got a B.A. He later became a deacon at Peterborough, Vicar at Ridge and first Headmaster at Aldenham School. He died circa. 1644.

Where have you looked for information about him, as Cambridge University, Aldenham School and the Church must have extensive records - though not necessarily and family information.

Was his Father also a vicar, do you think?

Any information on siblings?

Is his estimated birth year from his marriage, less 25 years?

Hi chempat,

The church told me that he was born in Higham Ferrers. Cambridge University gave me a lot of information, but I don't know anything about his family. I don't know if his father was a Vicar or names of any siblings. His date of birth was roughly given by Cambridge University.

Many thanks,

Colin
