Hi i am researching the Beatty or Beattie family from the Cotton in Bangor co Down  my great,great grandfather was Charles Beatty  died 1883    he married for the 2nd time in 1846  i am trying to find out if he had a son called John to his first wife i do not know who she was   Their is a book about  Beatty or Beattie  from the Cottown /Cotton   a number of the family moved to Canada  would anyone know the name of the book ?

Hi Quick draw   I got the book as a present but it does not say who Charles first wife was  she must have died young and no mention of a John  I have now noticed from Johns marriage to Jane Watterson in 1870 his age is 23 so he would have been born 1847 a year after Charles married a 2nd time in 1846 of course ages may be wrong  Zion
