Canada Voters List 1940 and 1974 shows the couple living at 153 McAnulty Blvd - Hamilton East Ontario. George is retired by that point.

When Margaret Cordiner immigrated to Canada 5 October 1929 on the Melita - Margaret was 33 years and travelled with son George only 9 months old and a daughter Maggie 4 years -

Sandra

According to one of the ancestry tre's - the couple appear to have one son and one daughter.

Yes, looks like just one of each.

Canada Voters List 1940 gave George Cordiner (engineer) and Mrs George Cordiner. 153 McNulty Bvld. Hamilton.

In 1945 a foreman.   1957/58 operator. (always same address)

Probably another son celebrated 50th wedding anniversary in 2009 Hamilton.  Search for Cordiner here: http://www.lifenews.ca/publication/hamiltonspectator

Looking at a George and Irene Cordiner who lived in Hamilton and wondered if he could be the George Cordiner Jnr.  Although nothing else is forth coming on that couple at the mo.

Not sure the 50 th wedding anniversary above can be attributed to your Cordiner family.
