Mary Bradshaw
« on: Wednesday 06 December 17 16:56 GMT (UK) »
Hello,

I’m trying to trace any decendants of Mary Bradshaw born in 1883 in Hull, East Yorkshire.
I have discovered she married a Christopher William Jordan in 1903. In the 1911 census they were living at 749 Hessle Road Hull. They had one son, Laurence William aged 7 years and one daughter
Amy Lillian age 3 years. This is were the trail has run cold. Any help would be much appreciated.

Best regards,
Nick Uebel

If you search freebmd using surname Jordan mmn Bradshaw from 1911  there are two more possible births in the Hull area  ;)

Two births up to 1939

Births Jun 1913
Jordan    Elsie M    Bradshaw    Sculcoates    9d   282

Births Mar 1921
Jordan    Christopher R    Bradshaw    Hull    9d   540

Looks like Christopher died in 1997.

Can't see any Mary Jordan (Wright) with the parents and the two children listed.  Two records are closed.  Don't know if they were Land Girls/Boys working on the farm or possibly grandchildren.

Amy Lilian Jordan's birth was registered Jun qtr 1908 Sculcoates.

She married Jun qtr 1938 Glanford Brigg to Wilfred Sharman Larwood.

She died as Amy Lilian Larwood (birthdate 20 Mar 1908) in Havering district, Mar qtr 1974.

There are two female Larwood/Jordan births, in 1941 and 1946 respectively, which may be relevant - see FreeBMD for details as they are too recent to name here.
