Your attachment is cropped in such a way as to rob us of the opportunity to see more of the handwriting and context. I suspect you are making some mistake, as Irish death certificates do not include maiden surnames.

It looks to be a Scottish death certificate (which would record a maiden name) but presumably the family are known to have come from Ireland.

I'd go for McKenny too.

If it is a Scottish cert, then isn't this query in the wrong section?

It says M.S. before the surname which usually stands for Maiden Surname.

I plump for McKenny too.   Or McHenry at a stretch.

Dawn M.
Denys (France); Rossier/Rousseau (Switzerland); Montgomery (Antrim, IRL & North Sydney NSW);  Finn (Co.Carlow, IRL & NSW); Wilson (Leicestershire & NSW); Blue (Sydney NSW); Fisher & Barrago & Harrington(all Tipperary, IRL)
