There is a social security death notice states William Joseph Panetta born 2 October 1920 died 8 July 2000, parents Antonio and Angelina Panetta.
He was listed as 16 in 1940, but 9 in 1930, possibly he did not remember his mother and thought Angelina was his mother.

Thanks for looking up these records, also for submitting the correction.  I know they passed Antoinette off as Angelina's daughter in some records.  I'm just looking for the copy of the 1930 census you have mentioned as I can't seem to find the one with Tony Pacitti mentioned.

Look for the surname Parotta, Angelina age 34 family number 622 on Annin Street.
It's how it was transcribed.

This appears to be them in 1920, Mildred Street, Philadelphia.
Antonio Pannetti 31 born Italy labourer in shipyard emigrated 1914 (note spelling of name)
Rosa 28 born Italy emigrated 1915
Joseph 7, son born Italy emigrated 1915
Amelia 2, dau  actual image she is 2 years 6/12 months (is this Carmella 1930)born PA

They kept changing Amelia's name, sometimesd Carmella, sometimes Millie.

As far as I know, there used to be birth index books at the New York Public Library, but they have since been removed.
