If I have this right, I have Charles Barter mar Rebecca Palmer 1804 Ottery St Mary, Devon, so not the Milborne Port Barter family.

It looks as though Thomas Barter mar Ann Palmer 1801 MP, Ann was buried 28/3/1802 MP, Thomas remarried a Rebecca and they had the following children all MP
George 1808
John 1810
Robert 1811
Anne Robina Palmer 1813-1814
Anne 1815

Rebecca was buried 9/4/1816 MP
Thomas was buried 4/8/1829 MP

A tree on familysearch/search/genealogical records has John bpt 1810 MP died Tarrawingee, Victoria, Australia wife Matilda Bargery and lots of children
