Missing from 1911 Census
« on: Saturday 09 December 17 19:19 GMT (UK) »
Hi there,

I cant find the following couple in the 1911 census. Ernest (b 1884) and Emma Young (B 1882 Rushton Staffs). They married in 1908 in Stone Staffordshire. They had a daughter Phyllis in 1915 St Albans, Herts and another Sybil in 1918 Stone.
I am not sure if they were in Staffordshire in 1911, perhaps Hertfordshire or perhaps somewhere else entirely.
Would someone be able to help me find them? Struggling here!
Thanks,
Tom

Ernest married an Emily   Woodward in 1908.
This makes it a lot easier to find them in 1911  ;)
Rootschat doesn't allow us to provide information from the 1911 census but they are there.
Using the GRO birth index which gives the mother's maiden name they also have a daughter Alice May Young birth registered Sept 1/4 1908 Stone registration district

Thats the family! She was recorded as Emma in earlier census'. Also solved my 'who's Alice' issue.

Thanks for the help!
