Hi, I am seeking information on the parents and siblings of William George Rose b. 1810. Married 1842 to Margaret O'Connor. William died 1848 and was a Butcher in Collins Lane, Melbourne. William George and Margaret had at least four children: William (1843-`1843), James 1843-1843, William John 1844-1922, George 1846-1849 and Elizabeth Mary 1848-1890. Elizabeth married Michael Joseph Madden 1867, Essendon, Victoria. Any information would be appreciated. Regards Danny

There are a number of articles on Trove about William's death (as well as a few about his pork butchery business), if you haven't seen them I can post links if you like. This one does say though that he left a wife and 3 children, presumably William, George and Elizabeth who were living at the time of his death.

I think you will benefit from having this thread moved across to the Australia board.   I will ask moderator to move it there.
