« on: Sunday 10 December 17 09:33 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for the parish record for this marriage to find out what Henry’s father was called.

Can anyone help with this?

I can't see any marriage in 1861 between Henry Shaw and Jane Ainley  :-\
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

I can't see any parish record entries for this marriage - Ancestry (C of E and Non-Conformist) or FindMyPast.

You may have to purchase the certificate.

That is all I could find as well, will think about whether the cost is justified...

I have another related question should I post here or start a new thread?

I would be inclined to start a new thread.  They can always be linked at a later stage, if necessary.
