However, I now think this is a different John Ireland. "My" John Ireland was a fisherman/labourer whereas the marriage record for the John Ireland who married Jane Graham @ St Martin the Field, Liverpool has him as a bookeeper.

There's not much online for Childwall Church. The best online resource is probably the bishop's transcripts on Ancestry but they don't cover the year of this marriage, missed out on it by a few years, they have marriages for 1754-1839.
