Thomas Chaloner and Susannah Boole
« on: Monday 11 December 17 23:10 GMT (UK) »
Susannah Boole, aunt of the famous mathematician George Boole, married Thomas Chaloner at St Peter in Eastgate Church, Lincoln in 1797. I know her ancestors came from Broxholm, but am investigating Thomas's forbears. The only Thomas Chaloner I can find is the Thomas Chalner who was born in Fillingham in 1768 to John Chalner. I believe Susannah's husband died in Lincoln in 1829. Does anyone know if this TC is the one who came from Fillingham?

Hi

Not much help, but in the parish register for St Peter in Eastgate, Thomas signs the register as CHALNER when he marries Susannah.

I can't see another birth either, just the one you have given.
