Where is this? - The Salzer family in Essex Possibly?
« on: Tuesday 12 December 17 14:41 GMT (UK) »
My great uncle Martin Salzer and his wife Phyllis, on a beach with (I think) neices.  They were from East London, so I assume this is either in Essex or Kent.  Do you have any idea where?!
Salzer (Germany/Walworth (1900)), Posnett (London), Edwards (London/Surrey), Stout (Whitechapel), Proud (London/Chester)

Thought it might be Westcliff or Southend but I can't find a picture to compare.

Super quality for a beach pic. Just tweaked it a bit.

I have never been to a beach in Essex or Kent. Ramsgate however was a direct route from Cannon Street, London to Ramsgate. Evidenced  by the late Driver William Trew on that fateful day  December 4 1957.
I would imagine that the Salzer family would have traveled  to the resort by train and it would have been a direct train.
