Dorothy H. Billington's Engagement Is Announced
The engagement of Miss Dorothy Helen Billington, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lambert Billington of Purchase Street, to Donald E. Gedney, son of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Gedney of
Maple Place, has been announced. The betrothal was made known at a tea
given at the home of Miss Billington'saunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Byrnes, Argyle Road, Port Chester.
Among the guests were the Misses Norma Billington, Virginia Wright and Theresa Donovan, of Rye; Miss Rita Hughes, of Port Chester; the Misses Edith Bermingham, Florence O'Brien, Ruth Maxwell, Mary Gardner, Katherine Burtz. and Mary Doran of New Rochelle; Madeline MacHugh, of
Larchmont; Miss Josephine Sullivan,of Tuckahoe; and Mrs. Bernard Henry, of Valhalla.
Miss Billington is a graduate of St. Gabriel's Academy. Mr. Gedney attended Port Chester schools.
