Hi thanks for your reply, so Robert had a brother called Alex killed in Sept 1915, he is not on Memorial so must have lived outside Camelon. Thanks again.

No Alex Risk on Falkirk Roll of Honour so he would not be on Memorial.

On the entry in the Roll Of Honour at Scottish National War Memorial, Edinburgh Castle,  Alexander Risk's place of birth is given as Stirling. Perhaps this is why he is not on the Camelon War Memorial.

That will be why Dorrie, to get on to Falkirk Roll of honour you had to be born in Falkirk area, or living there at time of death. So where ever Alex was staying when killed it was not in Falkirk area. Thanks for that.

Hi can i thank all of you who have taken the time to help me with finding a bit of history about the three Risks Boys.It turns out there is a fourth called Alex Risk who although shown on Army records as being born in Stirling is on the Memorial Tablet in Camelon Church so he must have lived with his parents at some stage in Camelon. So there are two pairs of Risks Brothers and all four wee killed in action. Thanks to your help i can now pass on this information to the Risk family who remain today. Please all have a great Festive Season, and thanks again.
