If you have been told he is not in this cemetary - why are you posting again for a look up?

If somebody is buried there - headstone or not - there should be a record unless some records have been lost or mislaid

Did you ask whether records for 1877 were still available?

Hi
There  are 2 MI publications  for Coetmor listed on GFHS website.
M285 Llanllechid, Robertson Mem.Church
Coetmor, Bethesda
According to Geotopoi website this dates back to early 20th century.
also
M371 Llanllechid, Coetmor ND. Pt.1 Bethesda

Church in Wales website lists a Coetmor Church, Glanogwen, Bethesda. Don't know whether or not there is a cemetery there.
Emyr

That's good news, but it may help others to know where you got the information from.
