WW2 Operation Varsity (Rhine Crossing) 1945

Looking for what happened to a Sgt H. Nichols on and after 24th March 1945. He was in the 53rd Worcestershire Yeomanry Air Landing Light Regiment R.A. 6th Airborne 210 Battery. He was on Horsa Glider Mk2 chalk No 305 which crash landed and the pilot, co-pilot, BSM Bentley (my father), Sgt Nichols and two gunners were all wounded. Two gunners were killed whilst in the air. I seem to remember that my father helped Sgt Nichols to a German field hospital. My research seems to have hit a brick wall as I have found what happened to the other men on the glider including the pilots. My father who was the senior NCO would have been in charge of the glider. I also have panoramic photos showing Sgt Nichols taken in 1944.
