Does anyone recognise this name?

Ruth Tollerton was born about 1913 probably in the Bradford, West Yorkshire area. She had a boy born 1936 at Bradford and she lived at Windhill, Shipley, West Yorkshire

If you look for births from 1910 to 1916 (in case your estimation of 1913 is slightly out)
you will find only one possible birth - in 1916.

If you then look on the free 1939 register search for Ruth Tollerton born 1916, you will see her under 2 surnames, one being her updated surname on her marriage.

Free bmd also shows her death, but you need to do the sums to work it out.  (Her birth on free bmd was in June quarter of 1916, so born somewhere between March and June).  The death in 1975 for Ruth Gould in Blackpool refers to a birth date of 12th April 1916.
