Thanks very much, all this information is very much appreciated. After so many years looking for this lady, to then have such comprehensive information about her life is fantastic. The newspaper articles are wonderful, such a fantastic resource for information.

In an obituary from reply #43 mention is made of a daughter, Mrs. S. Ackeroyd of Whakatane. The name is proving difficult to find, apart from this reference.......
