We have been looking for this relative for fifteen years or so, this is so exciting, goodness there may be relatives still in NZ who knows. Her house was called Pendennis, well if they named the house that would be more verification,as Pendennis Castle,is in Falmouth,Cornwall. She had a very tough start in life,so to think she had a long marriage and children well,it would be wonderful.

Thanks Sandra. Do you, think Matilda was the wife of Thomas or another child? Susan seems to have had a number of children, but I am getting a bit lost with them all now!! I have John Henry,Charles Ernest, Irene, Lavinia, Thomas,Arthur Edward and possibly Matilda so far.
I went on to the find a grave site and under the photo of Susan it verifies that she was born in Cornwall in 1854, yippee!!
