William Ridley M.I.C.E. early 1800's
« on: Monday 18 December 17 17:44 GMT (UK) »
Hi, I am trying to find out any information about the above William Ridley. In March 1876 he arrives in South Africa as the chief engineer on the Natal Government Railway between Durban and Pietermaritzburg.  He is discribed as William Ridley M.I.C.E. having had experience in buildings railways in India, Spain, USA and Mauritius.  Any info would be great.

Thanks
Catherine
