Andy I started on the photo last night, but then my computer played up and I lost it. I will try again now, I know how much this photo will mean to you. I am so sorry to hear of your loss and send my condolences to you and your family.

My colorising attempts can be a bit hit and miss, but had to have a go. Just don't look too close.

Here are some yellow roses for your mum. Thinking of you at this difficult time.

Heartfelt thanks to Peter, Tommy, Rami and Pat for your work on the photograph and to everyone who contributed to the thread, especially when you are all be busy preparing for the Christmas festivities. I really appreciate it and you never disappoint. Here's wishing you a very happy and peaceful Christmas. You just got to love this place  :)

Andy, unfortunately I am not talented enough to restore your photo, but what a fabulous job our restorers have done for you, it is a beautiful photo.

I understand exactly what you mean when you say your mom's passing was a blessed release, I went through a similar thing with my dad who passed almost 3 years ago.
