On your previous post you show on the 1891census that the Healan family were living at 34 Eden street. I wonder if this should be Ellen Street?

Possible siblings:

JFM 1876 Cardiff Maurice Heelan mmn Killcrow
AMJ 1877 Cardiff Laurence Heelan mmn Kilegrew
AMJ 1879 Cardiff Joanna Helan mmn Kelegrew
JFM 1885 Cardiff James Helam mmn Kilegrue
AMJ 1886 Cardiff Bridget Heelan mmn Killagrew
JFM 1889 Cardiff Thomas Hellan mmn Killegrew
AMJ 1893 Cardiff  Elizabeth Helan mmn Killigrew

What a good range of spellings!
Given the above spellings of Healan it is no surprise that I have not found a death record for William Healan. I have searched under the spellings of all the names above, then I searched for all under first name William only from a year before the birth of his last child to when his wife remarried. Given the large numbers to search I restricted the search to the Glamorgan area on freebmd but with no luck. Maybe he left his wife and went back to Ireland.
Thanks to everyone who has helped me in this search and others during 2017 and I wish you all a merry Christmas and good luck in your family history searches in 2018

Have found a Healan page on Facebook and they say many examples of the name being spelt in many variations.
It just adds to the fun of the chase!!

It's very cramped on the page but the previous page is far clearer and is definitely Ellen Street

PS - they are indexed as Eather on the site I checked!!

This could be his mother's Bridget's death in 1893: http://newspapers.library.wales/view/4327610/4327613/26/healan

Column 6 paragraph 9 (a couple below " Turkish Baths")
Address is 34 Helen Street (could be your 34 Ellen st)
