Crawford family picture help to Restore please

This picture of my great grandfather John Crawford one of his daughters and grand children and daughter in law has just been forward to me I believe it is around 1938 as he died in 1939 and going off the youngest child's age, my mother was born 1939 the same year her grandfather died and this will be her first picture she has ever seen of him so after 78/79 years it would be a great pleasure to show her this and can I thank everyone in advance for any help.....yours Harry

Do you have a copy of this photo with your great grandfathers head complete? I have cleaned the original one up for you.
I have also done a version of what it could possibly look like if complete, but of course that is just my idea, he may have looked totally different.

Trishanne firstly can I thank you for your time and effort but sadly no I have no access to the original only the image I have posted I was hoping just to clear the creasing on the picture so my mother can see it a wee bit clearer so once again thank you and merry Christmas and all the best for 2018 when it arrives......Harry
