Thanks again everyone   The person I was trying to find was a John Donellany originally spelling Donely born Dunmore Galway Ireland he ended up after 1901 in or around Manchester in a  Hospital classed as a lunatic.

Here is 1911 index for John Donnellan.

Have you got a date of birth for the one you are trying to find, as there are a lot of Donellany/Donellans from Ireland in Lancashire in 1911. Are you sure that you have the right one?

That John Donellan is from RG14; Piece: 24213; Page: 30, which isn't the same as you quoted earlier - RG14_24213_0036  or was that a typo?
