I can't buy in to this idea that he went to Australia, according to the Anc tree he married in 1918 aged 32 =b 1886 according to his death cert but no marriage cert? Also his emigration records this one aged 41 at 1924 =b 1883. My one was bapt 1878 so miles out in years, also no death recorded for Annie?
There seems to be very little if any documented proof for his 2nd marriage and his emigration and life/death in Australia?
Cr

Like you have not found a second marriage ? Did see he was mentioned in the probate record for his mother dated 2 April 1924 ...Might be worth while contacting the tree member who has a picture of him to see what information he has to prove it is your Fred

The Fred who passed in Oz was b 1884 according to his cemetery record. Also the one I found in 1939 wasn't the correct one either, so I believe he stayed in Yorkshire with Annie nee Tate.
Thank you Sandra for the updates on the Young family.

I have contacted the tree owner with copies of photographs of Fred Anson and hope he might join the discussion here to prove or disprove whether t you are both working on the same family tree of Fred Anson from Ellerton Yorkshire born 1878.

I'd thought that Fred Owen Anson was the one that went to Oz as he fits the right age for the guy who emigrated in 1924? Thank you for your good research Sandra.
