Cannot find death registration - GRO ref for John Harper died aged 2 years 1914

I have a birth registration for John Harper (son of John & Elizabeth) born 1911 (reg. A/M/J Q - Aston) - then have found a burial 25th March 1914 aged 2 years -  at St Peter & St Paul in Aston - but I cannot find a registration (GRO ref) for his death.

The burial record states he died at City Hospital, Perry Barr.

Can anyone help find this.

Actually - I think I have answered my own question.

There is a death registered for a Jack Harper - West Bromwich, 1914 - and having looked back at the burial record he is listed as Jack Harper - not John.

Jack Harper, aged 2
West Bromwich,  Q1, 1914  6b, 1023

Perry Barr listed under West Brom RD
