Thnk you all for your replies.  I had previously found the same census records as quoted on your replies but wasn't sure as.......
on the marriage certificate 1888 of Margaret Leitch, Spinster, age 18 it quotes her parents as Dominick Leitch  Shoemaker & Mary Lynch.

Worth getting Margaret's birth cert  and death cert.

The death cert and the birth cert of brother have her as Margaret Savage.

Is this Margaret and James on the 1891:

Crown Street, Govan
James Dunn, 21, ship yard labourer,
Margaret, w, 21
Margaret,d, 2
Catherine, under 1
All b.Lanarkshire

If so it fits with the previous censuses  :-\

I'm assuming that is James Dunn and Margaret.  On the marriage certificate John Dunn is  19 recorded as a labourer.

Not sure if you want to follow the Dunn line but just in case - something for you to verify -  - William Dunn - 12 August 1892 - Old Dalmarnock Road, Bridgeton, Glasgow, Scotland passed away 15 June 1956 - 29 Inga Street, Glasgow, Scotland. Married 1 Jul 1926 - Quetta, Bengal, India to Charlotte Calderhead Beaton born 7 February 1892.
There is a death record which is a possible for Charlotte -

Charlotte Calde Dunn -  aged 65 years -  1957 - 644/7 380 - Kelvin

The couple had a son Geoffrey James Dunn -  13 October 1926 - Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan  19262010- passed away May 2010 (no source)
Spouse - Mary Ross Brown Stewart 19262016
born 8 July 1926 - Rutherglen, Scotland. passed away 13 february 2016 - Philpstoun, West Lothian, Scotland
