Other Parkington/Parkinton/Partington/Partinton entries from registers of St. Leonard, Salmesbury:
1822 baptism  Robert Parkington, son of Richard & Elizabeth
1814 marriage John Parkington & Ann Potter
1821 Frederic Parkington & Elizabeth Bibby
1821 Frederic Parkington witnessed marriage of Catherine Whittle.
1808 Henry Partington witnessed marriage of Thomas Woddington
1803 burial of Frances Partington, wife of John, abode Hoghton
1822 burial of Thomas Parkinton, infant son of Sarah.
There was also an Alexander Parrington married Betty Potter 1820.
All from LAN OPC. There is a note to say that parts of baptismal register 1773-1812 are damaged and illegible. See LAN OPC site for full explanation.

John Valentine witnessed a lot of marriages so may have been a church official.
