Hi everyone, I wonder in anyone can find a birth for Laurence Philip M Posnett, who according to his death cert was born in 1937 (he lived in London)

I have tried the usual searches, but I cannot find his birth (and therefore I can't find his parents).

Anything you can find would be great, thank you in advance.

There's a birth for a Laurence P M SANDERS june qtr 1937 in Hackney.

And a SANDERS/POSNETT marriage in 1940.

Just about to ask that myself Rosie ? They seem to have pinned down the father to a George Posnett 1901 - 1960 London City

Yes I do have a tree on ancestry, and was trying to make sure it was correct.  Interestingly, all the facts about Laurence P M (Posnett), match the same events on FindM P with surname SANDERS

I think you got it - Elizabeth Mary Sanders (I had Mary E ....).

So Laurence b1937 as SANDERS
1940 Elizabeth M SANDERS m GEORGE POSNETT, so Laurence becomes POSNETT
