Adoption 1968
« on: Wednesday 27 December 17 19:55 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

I am trying to find anyone who could possibly know a link for this.

Brian (poss not the name his birth parents gave him), was born in April 1968 in Glasgow. His DNA results have come back as mostly being from East Europe. Apparently his parents were young at the time of his birth.

If anyone knows about an adoption on the 8th April 1968, please can you get back to me.

Thank you

Hi Lauren

Welcome to RootsChat :)

RootsChat is meant for finding ancestors, rather than living folk.

Personal details of any people known or thought to be living will be removed, in accordance with RootsChat policy, to avoid spamming and other abuses. People here will be able to give you general tips and hints how to proceed, but not any concrete details. You say that he was born in Glasgow but the post is under Europe, I am a bit confused to where the post should be is it a DNA question ??

You will also find more tips here:

Here's a link about Scottish Adoption records.

https://www.nrscotland.gov.uk/research/guides/adoption-records

I suggest Brian pursues suggestions there and tries to obtain his birth file directly which whill contain all the information he needs to know.
