Field family, Adam Street, Duncairn, 1911
« on: Friday 29 December 17 12:52 GMT (UK) »
Hi, Just looking for any descendants of the Field family who lived at 9 Adam Street, Duncairn in 1911.

http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Antrim/Duncairn/Adam_Street/139019/

My interest is in Robert Field, who I believe later in years, may have worked in the docks/customs before emigrating to Zimbabwe (Southern Rhodesia) in the early 50's. May have been in England (Nottingham area) for a short time prior to emigrating.

Any information would be very much appreciated.

Terry

Thanks aghadowey,

I traced the Field family previously in the hope of finding information. After further research and discussions with family it is Robert Field that I need information on. Bob Field from Duncairn emigrated to Zimbabwe early 1950's & married my grandmother out there. I now have her death certificate and actual photo's of her headstone in Athlone Cemetery, Bulawayo. Just trying to find descendants of the Field family who could maybe shed some light on how he met my grandmother.

Regards

Terry

The possibilities are that they knew each other in Belfast or met out there (possibly through mutual friends or shared background).

Henry Field married 1901 Jane Ferris & had at least 7 children-
