Thanks for the replies. I didn't know what he did in WW1 until I read the info. I know most of his genealogy because his first wife Christiana was my great aunt. I don't know what happened in later life. Did he remarry, where did he live and what was his connection to the Houltby family of Nettleham? Whereabouts in Welton reg. district did he die?
