Hi--
I meant to say that the two listed as 15 months at death implied 15 years on index.
Stephen

Ah! Bad luck and bad indexing. I would definitely contact the GRO to complain and ask for a refund, they should not be entering 15 months as 15 years

As she's a farmer's daughter, would she more likely to be working on a farm.... there's an Elizabeth Thomas at Pant farm, Pembrey (2-3 miles from Five Roads).
Working for Stephen Griffiths 65.

Hi--
Thank you. Her brother, William Thomas (1846-1888) was at Pembrey for a while--and is buried there. Was that in the 1861 Census?

Yes it was.
It may be of interest to you that the Five Roads Heritage Committee have updated the village history booklet and I think it's still available (comes with a DVD).

If you type in Five Roads Heritage Society into your search engine, you'll find it....same place as Our Vanishing Heritage site.
